National Reading Day

Grab a book and read! Today is National Reading Day. Read a book for school, read a book with you child, read a book just for fun! Just be sure to read.

Where I live it is a rainy day out, so this is the perfect time to just curl up under a warm blanket with a good book. I'm currently reading Iris and the Dragonflies by Rosemary Danielis. I have been really enjoying this book and I cannot wait to get started on my review.

If you are looking for a new book, I have a few suggestions. If you need a new series and you are interested in paranormal romance Brides of the Kindred series by Evangeline Anderson is a great series. It is an adult series filled with aliens, adventure, erotica, and love. If you are looking for a new Young Adult book Amongst the Ruins (The Chronicles of 2020) by Saewod Tice is an excellent read. You can find my review here. If you need a new author Nicky Charles has out some really amazing books. She has a wonderful Lycan series. If you don't want paranormal (sorry that's been my theme lately) then Thoughtless by S.C. Stephens is a great love story about a girl falling in love with her boyfriend's best friend. I seem to be on a YA, paranormal, romance kick. :)

So let me know, what are you reading? Do you have any suggestions for books? Leave a comment!

  1. I'm going to finally start the Hunger Games series. My daughter has to read the 1st book for school. She asked me to read it with her.

What book loving mom can say no to such a request? :)

My book series recommendation is the Wicca/Sweep series. I'm slowly reading that series. I read 1-4 already.
